This race features fully closed roads. All four lanes of Krome Avenue, the entire northbound and southbound lanes, are fully closed to cars to provide all GFNY riders and runners a safe and fast race experience. An experience like no other, with a race course in the Latin American capital of Miami fully closed for you.

 

All the Michelob ULTRA GFNY Miami race activities like packet pickup, race start and the post-race party & awards take place at Miccosukee Casino & Resort. Race past the natural wonders of the Everglades in western Miami. This expansive marshland ecosystem is home to sawgrass prairies, cypress trees, Spanish moss, and fauna.

 

The race starts and finishes at the Raccoon Lot of the Miccosukee Casino & Resort. Ample parking and pre-race facilities are available. Line up in the start corrals on the Miccosukee Resort property. When the race starts, exit Miccosukee and turn left to head north on Krome Avenue.

 

The Michelob ULTRA GFNY Miami 5k runners will run north for 2.5km, then make a u-turn and then run south for 2.5km for a flat and fast Everglades 5km experience in the cooler early morning with a full-on post-race party with finisher medals, finisher towels and Michelob ULTRA Cheer Beers.

 

The Michelob ULTRA GFNY Miami cyclists will ride northbound for 13 miles, then make a u-turn and ride south for 13 miles. The medium route riders will complete their 26-mile recreational 1-loop ride at the timing finish line on Krome Avenue. The long route riders will continue on to ride a 2nd loop by riding 13 miles northbound, then make a u-turn and ride 13 miles southbound to the timing finish line on Krome Avenue after 52 miles / 84km of racing. GFNY cyclists will have exclusive use of Krome Avenue for the duration of the event. Please note you must make the cutoff time of 8:50am (1h50min) at Mile 26.3 (15mph average speed) to be able to continue onto the 2nd loop.

 

The average elevation on the course is 6ft, making GFNY Miami the flattest course of the GFNY World circuit. But be ready: the wind will shape pelotons and hold back attacks. Group riding will be your key to a fun race at a good pace.

 

A festive post-race party back will await you at Miccosukee: A cheer beer from Michelob ULTRA, your medal, post-race meal, DJ, awards ceremony, photos and camaraderie.
